Classes

Weekly afternoon sailing sessions:
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 2:30-4:30 p.m.
$35 per session and Islamorada residents receive a $10 discount.
No experience required.
Reservations recommended.

We also offer private instruction. This is geared toward the person who wishes to complete the US Sailing Small Boat certification program (information about that can be found here). The cost is $195 and can be completed in approximately 10 hours.

Fast and Fun!

No experience required; all ages. Most people can become confident and comfortable sailing a Hobie Wave in less than an hour! True! For only $55 you will have a certified instructor get you started sailing quickly, easily, and safely. You’ll be hooked! This experience lasts for 2 hours. The instructor will spend approximately 30-60 minutes with the designated driver who will be learning to sail the boat.  Once you are ready to sail solo you may enjoy the rest of the 2 hours taking friends and family sailing with you. You may be having so much fun you'd like to continue sailing for longer than 2 hours.  If so you may continue to rent the boat at the discounted rate of only $20 per hour. This program is available any time an instructor is available on premises and you are encouraged to make reservations in advance.
